Snap action thermostat, also known as bimetal thermostat. All kinds of snap action thermostat models are collectively referred to as KSD, such as KSD301, ksd302, etc. which are mainly used in variety of electric heating products. When it is used as overheat protection, it is usually used in series with thermal fuse, and the snap action thermostat is used as a primary protection. Thermal fuse is used as secondary protection in case of over temperature of electric heating element caused by sudden tripping thermostat failure. It can effectively prevent the burning out of the electric heating element and the fire accidents caused by it.

KSD temperature controller is a kind of bimetallic wafer with constant temperature as a thermal sensitive reaction component. When the temperature of the main part of the product increases or decreases, the heat generated is transferred to the bimetallic wafer to achieve rapid action when the action temperature is set. Through the action of the mechanism, the contact is opened or closed to achieve the purpose of connecting or breaking the circuit, so as to control the circuit.

Application of snap action thermostat:
It is mainly used in the occasions where the circuit needs to automatically turn on and off with the change of temperature, so that the temperature of the appliance can be controlled in a constant temperature range.

2. Office equipment (coating machine, hot melt machine, laser printer)
