Working principle and structure of electric cooker heating plate

Heating plate is not only the heating element of electric cooker, but also an important element to determine the cooking performance. Its design is directly related to the heat transfer efficiency and cooking effect of the inner pot, and also affects the dry burning performance of the heating plate. 

Working principle of heating plate:

The heating plate converts electric energy into heat energy through the resistance heating wire in the heating tube, and the heat is transferred to the inner pot by the surface of the heating plate through heat transfer, so as to heat the food in the electric cooker. The utility model is mainly composed of cast aluminum, heating pipe, wiring lug and silica gel cap. For the heating plate of electric cooker, the composition of cast aluminum and the structure of heating tube are particularly important, which determine the performance and quality of the whole heating plate.

Structure of heating plate:

The heating tube of the heating plate of an electric cooker is generally a metal tube. As shown in Figure 1, it is mainly composed of five parts: 1. Lead out rod, 2. Sealing material, 3. Pipe material, 4. Filling material and 5. Resistance heating wire.

Thickness of heating plate:

It refers to the distance between the heating tube and the surface of the heating plate, which is also directly related to the anti dry burning performance of the heating plate. If the thickness of the heating plate is too thin, the local temperature will rise rapidly. When the temperature exceeds the melting point of cast aluminum, the heating plate is easy to melt. Therefore, the thickness of the heating plate is required to be 3.0 mm ≤ D ≤ 3.2 mm.

Composition of cast aluminum material:

Because the composition of the cast aluminum material directly determines the melting point of the heating plate, and has a significant impact on the performance of the heating plate, enterprises have made strict requirements on the composition proportion of the cast aluminum material. However, in order to ensure the composition of cast aluminum material for heating plate, it is far from enough to only have standards

1) The supplier is required to sign the composition standard agreement of heating plate. This is to tell the supplier the requirement of the enterprise, in the early stage of the procurement to strongly put an end to make up.

2) The components shall be clearly identified on the design drawings. Not only remind the supplier to ensure the quality, but also strictly inspect as the inspection standard.

3) When entering the factory, sampling inspection shall be conducted in strict accordance with the composition requirements, and full inspection shall be conducted when necessary.
